  硅莫砖(Silicon mo brick)以特级高铝矾土熟料和红柱石及碳化硅和特级均化矾土为主要原料组成的经高压成型、高温烧制而成的耐火砖。

  Silicon motile is a kind of refractory brick made of high grade alumina clinker, red pillar, silicon carbide and high grade alumina.

  硅莫砖中的“硅”指碳化硅,“莫”指莫来石,其实,硅莫砖是以高铝矾土、碳化硅为主要原料,通过烧结制出的耐火砖。本质上,硅莫砖只是一种添加了碳化硅的高铝砖。其中,一些产品可能掺有莫来石、“三石”、刚玉等耐火原料。碳化硅在超高温、强还原条件下,由碳和二氧化硅发生反应合成。合成的特点是碳粒不动,SiO2和中间物质(SiO、Si)先变成气相再和碳接触并发生反应。

  "Silicon" in silicon motile refers to silicon carbide and "mo" refers to mullite. Actually, silicon motile is a fireproof brick made by sintering with high bauxite and silicon carbide as the main raw materials.Essentially, silicon mullite is just a high alumina brick with silicon carbide added.Among them, some products may be mixed with mullite, "three stones", corundum and other fire-resistant raw materials.Silicon carbide is synthesized by reaction of carbon and silicon dioxide under the condition of high temperature and strong reduction.The synthesis is characterized by the immobility of carbon particles, with SiO2 and interte (SiO, Si) first becoming gas phase before contacting carbon and reacting.

  Adding silicon carbide into high alumina brick increases the thermal conductivity and reduces the coefficient of thermal expansion.Therefore, the thermal shock resistance of high alumina brick can be significantly improved.SiO2 and CO are formed when silicon carbide is oxidized, and SiO2 reacts with Al2O3 to form mullite.Both of these reactions have large volume increases.Mullite also has good high temperature performance.Therefore, appropriate amount of silicon carbide can help to compensate the heavy burning shrinkage of refractory bricks, improve the softening temperature under load and resist the creep.First, technical personnel in the west think of high alumina brick cement kiln ceiling using temperature is 1300 ~ 1350 ℃.If more than 1300 ℃, the CaO in cement clinker and refractory brick of Al2O3, SiO2 reaction to form rich CAS2, C2AS product flow will be burning, lose protection brick will soon break.Therefore, alkaline bricks are needed in high temperature zone of cement kiln, including firing belt and transition belt.

  在水泥回转窑的次烧成带和过渡带的使用寿命优于尖晶石砖,主要原因是尖晶石砖在使用中由于碱侵蚀而形成侵蚀段带,造成热面产生裂隙和剥落而加速损毁。而硅莫砖结构致密,莫来石和SiC晶体稳定,加上砖面形成连续的SiO2致密层,阻止了气体和熔融物的侵蚀。加上SiC的热导率高、热膨胀系数小,制品的热抗震稳定性好。这些性能特点使硅莫砖不易断裂和产生剥落,而且由于热导率低于镁质材料,使筒体受热不致过高,这不仅保证了回转窑筒体的正常运转,而且节约了燃料。

  硅莫砖的品种和性能硅莫砖是一种高铝碳化硅质耐火砖。若在硅莫砖中再添加不同的特种耐火原料,还可以继续提高硅莫砖的某些性能,也就可以将改性后的硅莫砖分成不同的子类。例如,在硅莫砖制砖料中用一部分红柱石代替矾土,可以制出硅莫红砖。硅莫红砖除具有良好的耐高温、耐侵蚀性外,还具有比硅莫砖更好的抗热震性。很多水泥工厂的实践证明:硅莫红砖或硅莫砖用于5000t/d新型干法水窑的上过渡带可以获得12个月的寿命;用于2500t/d新型干法水泥窑的上过渡带,可以获得1~2年的使用寿命,相当于镁铝尖晶石砖的150%~200%。
